This seminar focuses on the interplay between law and politics, and is organized as a workshop. Specifically, we have divided the semester into six two-week blocs. In the first week, we discuss a paper authored by a prominent scholar; in the second, that scholar presents his or her work to the class. You will write six short papers critiquing the scholar's work, and we'll share your comments with our visitors.

We base your grades on the quality of your written work (75%) and on class attendance/participation (25%).
